Quotes
Quotes are free and they come in writing. The quote names the garment, the decoration method, the count, and the price.
A quote is good for the job as described. Change the garment, the count, or the number of colors and the price changes with it, so tell us and we will requote.
The estimator on the quote page is an estimate for planning. It is not a quote. Your price is the written one that comes from the shop.
Proofs and approval
Nothing is printed or stitched until you approve a proof. The proof shows the art, the size, the placement, the garment, and the colors.
The approved proof is the spec. We produce what is on it. Check the spelling, the numbers, the sizes, the colors, and the placement before you approve, because after approval the proof is what we go to press with.
Screen and thread colors are matched as closely as the process allows. Ink on a colored garment and thread under shop light can read a little different from a screen. If an exact match matters, tell us up front and ask for a sample.
Deposit and payment
Orders go into production on a 50% deposit. The balance is due at pickup.
The deposit covers garments and setup, which we commit to as soon as you approve.
Turnaround
Typical turnaround is 10 to 14 business days after you approve the proof. The clock starts at approval, not at the first phone call.
Rush is often possible, sometimes with a rush fee. Ask and we will tell you up front what it costs and whether we can hit your date.
Season matters. Spirit wear in the fall and krewe orders before Carnival fill the calendar, and blank availability at the mill is out of our hands. Order early and we will both sleep better.
Artwork you send us
Your artwork stays yours. We use it to produce your order and we do not sell it, license it, or print it for anybody else.
By sending us artwork you are telling us you have the right to reproduce it. That covers logos, mascots, team marks, characters, photographs, and type. We do not print a mark somebody else owns without permission from the owner, and if a claim comes back on a design you supplied, it is yours to answer.
If a file needs redrawing before it can be screened or stitched, we quote a flat art prep fee and confirm it before any work starts. You keep the cleaned-up print-ready file, so you never pay to have it redrawn twice, here or anywhere.
Screens and stitch files we keep
We keep your screen and your digitized stitch file at the shop. That is why a reorder skips setup, comes back faster, and matches the batch you got years ago.
There are over 1,000 screens on file here. Ask us for a copy of your digitized stitch file and we will talk about it.
Garments you supply
We decorate garments you bring in. Not many shops do, and we are glad to.
We cannot replace goods we did not sell you. A misprint on your own garment is your risk, and you should bring extras for that reason.
Count what you drop off and check it for stains, holes, and finishes that fight ink or a needle. We flag anything that looks risky before we start, but the condition and the count of what comes in the door is yours.
Counts and spoilage
On a run of any size a piece can spoil on press. If you need an exact number of good pieces in hand, say so when you order and we will build extras into the count.
Changes and cancellations
Call as soon as you know. Before we order garments and before setup starts, a change or a cancellation usually costs nothing.
Once garments are ordered or setup is done, those costs are yours. Once a run has started, the order cannot be cancelled.
If something is wrong
Look your order over when you pick it up. If a piece is misprinted, miscounted, or does not match the proof you approved, bring it back and tell us. We will reprint the affected pieces or credit them.
Tell us as soon as you find it. The sooner we hear about it, the more we can do.
Pickup and shipping
We are built around local pickup at the shop. Finished orders are held here for you.
Shipping can be arranged on request and is quoted at cost. If you need it shipped, say so when you order so it is on the quote.
